Biography

Janet now resides in the Boiling Springs area after residing in Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Dallas. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Housing and Home Furnishings. Janet has been a member of the Davids design staff for over 20 years and has established herself as a Master Designer in addition to teaching design and color seminars and being an active member of our buying team. Her accolades include the "Simply the Best" Interior Design award and she was the lead designer on one of our award-winning Home-A-Rama homes. Janet is very passionate about private residential design projects as well as commercial projects. She has completed projects in the renovation of the Gettysburg Country Club as well as the Supreme Court offices of the State of Pennsylvania. Janet enjoys spending time with her grand babies, family, traveling, and doing hand crafts. In her own home, she prefers elegant, sophisticated design that is relaxed and comfortable.

Biography

Dede may be one of the newest members of the Davids design staff, but she is not new to design. She has spent many years overseeing renovations of various properties involving kitchen and bath design as well as flooring and color selections. Her design talents have been realized over and over again through these projects. She graduated with honors from the Art Institute of York with a degree in Specialized Technology in Interior Design. Dede enjoys learning about current trends and products and implementing them in her designs. Her roots grow deep in this area having grown up in Carlisle and living in the Mechanicsburg area for over 20 years. She has many established relationships and builds new ones quickly with the Davids customer through her easy-going approach and warm personality. Outside of her career, she enjoys spending time with her three children, extended family, and friends.

Design Philosophy

She loves mixing the old with the new. Dede says, "I have an appreciation for quality and craftsmanship of fine furnishings whether it be an antique or a new production. Throw in some unexpected accessories and fabrics and your space will make a beautiful statement."

Biography

Debbie has spent her career in merchandising and design, which includes establishing herself as a Master Designer in the six years that she has been with Davids.

Her background as a manager and designer with Ethan Allen and as a Regional Director of design and merchandising for a ladies retail clothing chain, has positioned her to be qualified and successful in completing many beautiful rooms for her clients. Her motivation to help clients realize their dream room has been a building block to her success.

"I believe one of my greatest strengths is to listen to my clients and understand their goals. Then and only then, can their dreams blossom into reality for the room they want to share with their family and friends."

Biography

Paul is a designer at heart. Using his eye for detail, his projects truly reflect the home and the home owner, beginning with his own. He and his family reside in a restored 1790s stone home in Carlisle's Historic District. Paul designed the interior setting, layout, and details that make this home an eye-pleaser on many levels. Truly motivated by new challenges, he has restored several other properties in the Historic District.

Paul's enthusiasm for design influences all areas of his life. Before his formal design career at Davids, he exercised his creative/artistic passion through his love of antiques and continues to enjoy buying and selling antiques in the Carlisle area. In addition to interior furnishings and tastefully combining various period and design styles, Paul often develops and manages projects involving new floor plans of existing areas including kitchens, bathrooms, great rooms, and outdoor living spaces for clients.

Paul joined the Davids team in 1998 and quickly established himself as Master Designer and has earned the President's Award 11 years in a row. His approach to design, with a focus on customer satisfaction, has established him as an innovative, thorough, and thoughtful designer. Paul's passion is to help his customer realize and enjoy a well designed room that fits their lifestyle. The foundation of his success has been realized through many repeat and referral clients.

Biography

Noelle recently achieved her dream of pursuing a career in interior design when she graduated from the York Institute of Art with honors in the Interior Design program. This decision followed many years of doing design or design related work. Noelle has done consultations, redesigns, staging, and even some kitchen and bath remodels before pursuing her degree. Since graduation, she has joined the Davids team and brings her positive, energetic spirit to everything she does.

Design Philosophy

"I love working with people! I see the design process as a team effort. I am one part of the team and the client is another. We are working together to make the rooms about the people who live there, not about me. I am here to help them make a home which is something important to all of us. It should be a reflection of my clients and who they are. I allow them to be themselves and through the process of asking questions and listening, I help them create the room they are looking for. I feel this is what I am called to do."
